MEME TIME.

First, here are the answers to the lyrics thing I did this weekend:

1. Goodnight, Irene
2. I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive (unguessed!)
3. Long Black Veil
4. Green, Green Grass of Home
5. Poor Ellen Smith
6. Streets of Laredo (unguessed!)
7. Wildwood Flower
8. I Still Miss Someone
9. I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry
10. The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down

[livejournal.com profile] malnpudl was the big winner there. Praise!

Second, okay, that "give me three stories you think I would never write" thing looks fun? But there is NO WAY I am doing it, because I know a lot of you way too well, and you would all gang up together to make me write schmoopy Ray/Ray. I KNOW YOU WERE THINKING IT DON'T EVEN FRONT.

Third, I have user interests! And icons! If you want me to explain any (or three specifically, I guess) of them, comment and I shall talk about myself. Such a hardship.

Anyway. Hi, you guys. I really love Ray and Fraser. How about you?

(Yesterday in a comment [livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl was talking about how Fraser was the biggest woobie ever and how it made her want to feed him cookies. Which, a, I REALLY REALLY want to read about what how the scenario with BLG, Fraser and cookies would play out but also, b, she never answered me when I requested reassurances that she wouldn't be serving him her fancy genitalia shaped ones. Um.)

I think I will go watch last night's Heroes now.

Fraser was, at first, a bit perplexed by the unusual shapes of the cookies. They did not seem to be shaped in any of the usual festive, seasonal forms that one so often saw at this time of year. When, on closer inspection, it became clear that they were meant to represent a rather delicate portion of the male anatomy, his first instinct was to politely decline. However, they did look tasty, and he would so hate to disappoint the beaming young lady who had come running out of her office to offer him one, as she appeared to have spent rather a lot of time in their decoration. He carefully selected one, and thanked her kindly for her troubles, hoping she would overlook his slight stammer as he did so.

As he walked to his next seminar, he carefully consumed his treat in a dignified yet hasty manner, as he would hate to cause his fellow attendees any discomfort by arriving with the cookie still in recognizable form. Hoping his blush had faded by the time he took his seat in the lecture hall, he reflected that at least he would have an amusing anecdote to relate to Ray upon returning home from his legal conference here in Boston.

Sorry, that was kind of random, wasn't it? Hope you don't mind me just popping in like that. But since I already had the icon, I kind of felt compelled to drabble. Not that I'm, um, bored at work, or anything.
