My sister's rewatching Mountie on the Bounty; my oh my are those boys handsome. One might even say delectable. I'm curious on the fannish consensus on something, though: before they leave for Sault Ste Marie, Fraser has the line saying "We're still partners then?" Famous exchange in CotW if the "partners?"/"If you'll have me" -- is that deliberate or meaningful echoing there? Or do you think it's just demonstrating that they are big giant girls, only without adequate communication skills?

Hee, okay! I wasn't sure of the deliberateness, I guess, just because I didn't really notice Fraser's line asking so early here the other times I've watched.
