Hey, RPS people -- and I mean that all around, not just bandslash but also popslash and Canada RPF and lotrips whoever else reads this -- I have a question for you, which is this: we write about these guys and girls for ourselves, in this fannish context, and it's not the same as reality, and we *know* that and we like it that way. (Didn't someone have a really good entry about filters and audience connected to slash goggles, which touched on something like this?) When we're going "they're so doing it" and "TINHAT", it's about our boys more than the real people who actually exist and think and talk and walk on their own.

But what I want to know is: what are the things that you genuinely, outside of all fannish viewing, think are true in objective reality? The people who you really do think are not heterosexual, or the people whom you believe really are having/did have some sort of romantic or sexual relationship beyond what is reported.

(I can say, "CKR might be queer, but I wouldn't be shocked if he did just like girls." But NOBODY was surprised at all when Lance Bass came out, you know?)

*I believe that Pete may be a little in love with Patrick, but more than that? they are soul mates in the sense that they are the very best of friends. The kind that just click, and that they could, perhaps, stop talking for a year, but still be perfectly comfortable with each other and talk just like they used to. The kind that grow old together, and have lightsaber fights with their canes and fight over who pays when they go to lunch. I think that Patrick is the very first person to look at Pete and actually see Pete, and Pete loves him so much, just for that. *smiles* I've got a Patrick of my very own, so I think I understand.

*As stated by everyone else, I think the Bert/Gerard thing did happen. I also think that Gerard could give a flying fuck about the sexuality of the person he loves, as long as he loves them. (I also think the Pete/Mikey thing happened, and that Alicia thinks its hilarious)

*I do think, out of the many bandom pairings, Tyson/Nick is the most viable. Nick left college because he missed Tyson. So, at the very least? Nick is in love with Tyson.

*Jamia and Frank, I think, are bandom's best relationship. They're just totally crazy for each other, and it shows. I think that even if he and Gerard had/have a thing, it would have had to have a complete Jamia-Approved stamp on it. It is so obvious that he thinks she is the most precious thing in the world. So, if you've ever read that one bexless fic, about Frank and Jamia bringing Gerard to bed? I think it'd be like that.

*Brendon Urie, bless his disney-loving heart, is at the very least, very, very bisexual, if not totally gay.

*Ryan Ross might be straight, but he is totally gay for Pete.

*It broke Tom Conrad's heart when he was kicked out of TAI.

*I think that Gabe? Is probably one of the bigger sweethearts of the group, and would be just a generally really nice person.

Okay! If I think of any more, I will come back. Thanks for posting this- I was just thinking about what I thought was and was not real .
