THIS IS TOTALLY THE CLOSEST I WILL EVER GET TO LIVING WITH MIKEYWAY, YOU GUYS.

Earlier today blondiusmaximus and I had a comment discussion about a universe where, upon getting sober, Gerard transferred his addiction to the relatively harmless one of shopping. The fact that this made no sense did not stop it from being totally awesome.

Earlier I was looking at someone's icons and mistook Starbuck from BSG for Bob Bryar. I approve of the girl!Bob musings this brings to mind.

Anyway. You guys, tell me about your stupid Mary Sue bandom fantasies? Anything from completely filthy to innocent and vanilla, I'm interested. Because I realize this week that my ultimate one is just, like, standing around awkwardly with pre-Lasik Mikeyway while we both shuffle our feet awkwardly and glance at each other from under our bangs. I can't even.

(Number two: cuddling on a couch with Gerard watching stupid horror movies that he gets stupidly excited about periodically and explains stuff to me. POSSIBLY EVEN HAND HOLDING, I KNOW, I"M WILD.)

I can't believe I am admitting this, but okay, here it is:

I like to daydream that I will be working some lame-ass job and just happen across them one day (it's usually FOB in this particular dream) and we talk and I say something poignant and their next cd comes out and whatever I said is one of their RIDICULOUSLY LONG SONG TITLES and I completely freak out. And no one believes me! BUT I KNOW THE TRUTH.



Also there is the one where I spoon with Mikeyway on his family's couch, but whatever, EVERYONE HAS THAT ONE.

So the mary sue bandom fantasy that almost made me die on the freeway? All about me winning that Write Fanfic Win Drum Lesson From Bob Bryar thing (so improbable considering I don't write fic, but hey! I can do everything in fantasies) and then him inviting me to go have dinner with the guys. And then we were like penpals for a while until he decided to move to Portland to be with me because it seemed like a pretty cool town.

And then we had a bungalow. Okay, in my original daydream, we didn't have a bungalow, but I'm currently in love with bungalows right now, so dammit!

--So, really, Pete Wentz is behind all of MCR and the rest of his band in terms of how attractive I find their faces? Stupidest and yet somehow most pressing Mary Sue bandom fantasy?

Oh gods, I can't even believe I'm about to share this:
Some time in the unspecified future, FOB and MCR and some others are touring together but they've all had kids! and they can't bear to leave the kids behind! So I come along as Tour!Nanny! In my very messed up brain, Mikeyway&Alicia's little boy and Pete&Patrick's little girl are 4 years old and totally inseparable BFFAEAEAE, Gerard&LynZ have an infant who's insanely good-tempered, and kind of has to be to deal with her cousin's best friend. There is craft time! This often involves getting kids to cover dad in glitter right before he has to go on stage! There is also "Uncle Gee hasn't showered in a while, so we're staging a waterfight where he's walking!" antics! Both of these fall back on the premise, "well you can't be mad at the KIDS!"

This universe occupies my headworld with what is probably an alarming frequency.

I totally tell people about my really stupid Mary Sue fantasies at the drop of a hat. Like, there's the one where Panic are recording their new album at the recording studio down the street from where I work. And first I spot them at the sandwich place, but I'm cool and don't say anything, they're just getting lunch. But then, because there's no video store in town, they come in to the library where I work and try to get dvds, and I'm like, well...you need to give me a local address and phone number.

And then they ask me where to go out in Boston, and I'm like, I'm so not cool enough to know what to tell you, but then it turns out that they really want to hear some live FOLK MUSIC, maybe an Irish session, and I'm like, YES. THAT I can help you with. And then we hang out at Irish pubs together.

There are also a lot involving weddings - not ME marrying anyone, but, like, one of my Chicago cousins marries one of Patrick's cousins, or Tomrad's, or someone's, and we hang out at the reception. Or possibly are in the wedding party together.
