wax_jism posted the hi-res version of the one Pete/Mikey picture the other day, and of course I immediately had to make it my desktop. Even since I keep minimizing all my windows just so I can stare at it some more. Ugh, these boys. The way they're clinging so close, the crinkly smile lines around Pete's eyes, the total loving possessiveness in the way Mikey's hand rests around him. And before I saw the hi-res version, I totally had never noticed that Mikey's fingerless gloves were Clan, too. Seriously, ugh. They remain forever, if not my OTP, then my very most favorite of pairings.

Also, I just added a new interest to my profile. I'm a dork.

I just. Pete. And Mikey. TRULY THEY ARE THE PAIRING OF MY HEART. Everytime I learn something new about, like, them still being friends or something, or some other canon from Summer of Like, I squeak for five minutes straight.

Plus, for real, like -- even if they weren't fucking around at all on the Summer of Like? Even if it was all innocent or whatever that means? They were still so completely and utterly head-over-heels infatuated with each other that it makes my heart ACHE. God.

YES. just, whatever, canon aside, they are ridiculous together. and I love how their personalities would have complemented each other. and how Alicia and Mikey clearly share Pete on weekends. What.

ahahahahaha. Your tiny print reminds me of my most beloved drawerfic fantasy, which is all about, like, crazy ot3 schmoopiness where, like, their door is always open for him.

i just ... really like the idea that there's always a place for him, you know? like, he's not with either of them any more, but they still love him and vice versa. he can come and visit their marriage bed and be on cross that line between being their good friend and their lover and then go back again without things getting weird.

aww, yes. They don't keep him because it wouldn't work, not because of any of them as much as just...it's Pete. so he stays with them sometimes, when it gets bad enough that the world's making him a little crazy.
