You know, before the 80 millionth time watching it (the small children like puppies), I never noticed that one of the ways we're clued in Cruella DeVil is evil in the live action 101 Dalmatians is through her feminist leanings.

Anita is good because she wants to get married and have babies and finally get away from this job -- which is good enough now, but not after she has a *family*. Dearie me, no!

But, god, we shouldn't even be surprised Cruella is a ruthless puppy killer. She's obviously one of those man-hating ambitious women. You know how *they* are.

A list, incidentally, which is currently Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, and Fox and the Hound. Do you have criticism to make those horrible too? DO YOU?

(Although, the Fox and the Hound? Really? That one kinda just ... sucks.)

No! No! The Fox and the Hound is sad and beautiful. I cry every time I watch it, especially in that part where the old lady takes the fox out to the woods and leaves him there. Because they're both so sad. And the music's so sad! Wahhh!
