[livejournal.com profile] thefourthvine's post the other day about her imaginary fandoms is making me think again about my imaginary fandom. TFV had too much shame to talk about hers, but I have no such qualms.

See, in my head lives the imaginary miniseries of ridiculous kink fulfillment, which stars Paul Gross and Molly Parker as super rich partying Jazz Age twins and CKR as a poorer writer-or-artist that they sort of adopt as their pet, which starts out with just hanging out with them, staying at their house, going to party, and ends up getting more and more involved in their really twisted fucked-up personal relationship till he can't get out.

(Checklist: hot Canadians; incest; threesomes; fucked-up relationships; artists and their inspirations; decadence; 1920s historicalness and style... BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP WINNER.)

Today I spent like three hours translating a couple of lines of Matthew from Old Church Slavonic into English. I bet you wish your life was this exciting.

It is three hours until Heroes airs on the West Coast. It is only Mondays and Thursday that I truly miss having a television! *sniffle*

All the icons I wanted to use with this post are currently inactive. Bah!

*giggles* [livejournal.com profile] fox1013 and I were just discussing who would have to be in the fandom as minor characters! I didn't think of Hugh, because, you know, I don't think of him often, and the problem I was having with Sandra Oh was dealing with the racism and exoticism. So far we came up with:

+ I think Don McKellar would have to be one of their friends who goes to all their parties. He could be one of those really high class socialists who is really arrogant and talks all the time about the common man.

+ Hmm, maybe an Ellen Page baby genius could be Molly Parker's kid from her first marriage that lasted fifteen minutes when she was nineteen. She can be at boarding school being a prodigy 11 months a year.

+ Also, for femslahs in my imaginary fandom, we can have Rachel McAdams at all the parties, drinking cocktails and smoking with a cigarette holder and dancing all night in short skirts.

+ Also also, I think Katie Heigl can be their maid. She is very pretty and kind of shy and naive and tries to be proper. And she cleans up after them and brushes Molly Parker's hair every night, and sometimes Molly Parker and PG both flirt with her and tell her what a pretty girl she is, and she always blushes.

I'm also pretty sure Peter Outerbridge is doing something pretty working class, but I don't know what yet.

--Actually, I think Peter Outerbridge might be Molly Parker's ex: she eloped with the chauffeur when she was eighteen, came back home a few months later, popped out the baby and then put the whole thing behind her like it had never happened.
