I'm not sure exactly when I became a total Bert/Gerard tinhat, but it seems to have happened extremely suddenly, with not warning whatsoever. One day I was pleasant neutral and "oh, yeah, Gerard's ex" and then, boom! GERAAAAAAAARD AND BEEEEEEEEERT AND THEIR TRAGIC LOVE OMG FLAIL FLAIL FLAILITY FLAIL.

ficbyzee is only encouraging this behavior, I'll have you know, by gossiping with me and making me listen to songs and read lyrics and linking me to youtube clips, all of which makes me go "UGGGGGGGGGH BOOOOOOOYS" in different intonations.

Sigh.

On the subject of Bert and Gerard, the thing that kills me most is the suggestion I've seen that Bert looked up to Gerard a bit. I'm not sure why, just...oh Bert. Your life is a Lifetime Channel tragedy.

oh man, I bet the first few days after their fight Gerard would have to fight the urge to just find Bert and sleep with him, because the thing about Bert is that he's a big fan of dirty sex, but if you manage to get him horizontal with his eyes closed, he's the clingiest motherfucker in the world.

And he's really small, too. Gerard used to like cuddling him and pulling up a blanket when he'd shiver. :(
