monkeycrackmary has brought me to the realization that there should be way more fic involving young Gerard's writing of crappy fanfiction. You know why he can't judge Waycest, right? It's because he WROTE IT.

(Fine, he didn't write Waycest. But you can't tell me he hasn't had any dirty thoughts on Luke and Leia. And he totally ships crazy space incest.)

Okay, I hadn't actually had the Serenity dvd until now? And you are all fired for not telling that a) the outtakes are absolutely awesome and b) the deleted scenes have lots of nifty Inara stuff! With the girlsexy bits and teaching whores and stuff! And secret passageways and fakeouts! And a quiet moment!

...Anybody have Mal/Inara recs for me? I'm in the mood. Sweet or fucked-up are equally welcomed.

Last night I had a dream where Mal and River were sitting together and Mal was mentioning how he used to be a Mountie before the war.

In between finals I've been rewatching Firefly all the way through. I don't know if you all know this? But OMG SUCH A GOOD SHOW.

So far I've gotten from the unaired pilot all the way through "Out of Gas"; "Ariel" is up next. My notes so far:

+ "Safe" continues to be the most glorious hetcest in the whole entire world.

+ Mal/Saffron is crazy hot in their scenes together in "Our Mrs. Reynolds."

+ Mal/Serenity OTP!!!!

+ Inara is always crazy hot, but I don't think ever more so than in the flash back in "Out of Gas" to her first meeting Mal. With the veil, and the short shirt, and the pants? Yes.

+ The way they keep going on in the commentaries about "ooh, in this scene there is a huge hint for SOMETHING WE CAN'T TELL YOU, hahahahahaha!" is kind of really annoying.

+ I still don't understand why River is afraid of guns and easily apprehended in the unaired pilot.

+ Everyone on this show is really, really pretty.

I don't have to mention that I haven't seen the movie, right? Since it doesn't come out for four months and there would be no reason on Earth to spoil me? Okay.

My friends-of list has just hit 400, which is exciting, because hey! Big round number! I love big round numbers! I feel like I should do something special for the occasion -- any ideas?
