And I REALLY wanted to buy a trepanation set at the antique store, long before the Golden Compass came out, only my mother squicked my by waxing nostalgic about using similar things when she worked ER and OR back in the day. DUDE. DO IT. You missed out on the Great Patrick O'Brianstraganza of '04 in my journal, but there was copy/pasting of awesome passages and character analyzin' and it's all just a big pile of KICKING ASS AND TAKING NAMES (and sometimes being little cheek-pinchy woobies). When I read, I fold page corners down so I can go back to passages I love, but I had to stop with POB because I was folding down every page.
